The New County, a weekly publication for the Greek community, reported Imbruglia was having an affair with Silverchair's Daniel Johns. Under the headline 'Romance Between Woman Stars of Rock', the paper claimed: 'Homosexual activity in the past would have remained secret or else threatened one's career. 'Not only does no-one criticise some stars for their lesbian relationships but now it is a form of advertising.' However, Silverchair Jones is actually a fully-fledged man.
